I ran across this blog and it has made me realize just how many people and families are suffering out there because of the worst outcome that abuse can cause. There are unbelievable numbers of missing people out there who have loved ones looking for them some for 20 or more years. Many victims are children, and teens, but many are mothers and fathers, ex-girlfriends and ex-boyfriends.
This site is another ning.blog started by some very amazing women who put a network together to bring the families of the missing together to help each other cope and to pull strength from one another.
These women are doing an amazing job at getting the word out about the missing and makes me realize how important what we have set out to do is. I know for me trying to help educate the vulnerable so that they are not easy targets, is so important so that hopefully they don't end up on the missing list.
There are weekly pod casts of which I listened to my first one on Tuesday night which was a great show.

You can replay the shows that have been previously aired. On an abuser data base guest speaker Myra who had been in a marriage to an extremely emotionally and physically abusive man. She had made it her life's work to try to help others from going through what she went through. She tells her story and and explains why she started this data base because she found out later that he had abused someone before her and had she known she would never have gotten with him.
There are many different groups withing the peace4 network.
